Today is October 1st, and October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This October, I’ve “gone pink”, to help raise awareness about breast cancer, the problems it poses, and the solutions we need. If you have a blog, you can go pink as well.

More importantly though, you can try and educate yourself this month about the disease, and try to educate someone you know about it, too. As per recommended by Pink for October, since the project relies on the “power of people”, you could get started with learning about breast cancer at Wikipedia. If you wish to do more than learn and educate, you can donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the foundation which Pink for October is raising money for this year. You can make your donation here; help us reach our goal of $15,000!
