In all seriousness, it's not like I'm <em>really</em> mad at Bambi and Co. Crap happens, and deer hopping in front of cars (or into them) falls under that. That doesn't mean I want to have it happen every week, mind you, but I accept that it happens. :) And yeah, I did some Google Image searches on deer / car crashes, and I consider us very lucky. I think the worst I saw was an entire moose inside the car, sprawled over all of the seats, with its head out the back window and its back legs out the windshield.

True, true. In all seriousness, it’s not like I’m really mad at Bambi and Co. Crap happens, and deer hopping in front of cars (or into them) falls under that. That doesn’t mean I want to have it happen every week, mind you, but I accept that it happens. :)

Glad all is pretty well, though. I've been in vehicles that have had deer collisions (though it's been a long time) and seen others, and losing a window does seem on the low side of things. She has some tiny cuts, really quite amazing considering how much glass hit her. Her cheek was starting to bruise pretty badly, but it's clearing up now.
