Two Pictures from the Fair

As one of my duties as a family man, I went to the local fair this past Friday afternoon. I generally dread the fair, but hey, the wife wanted to go, so off we went. I admit: I enjoyed watching my kid ride the rides. But that could have been done in an hour or so, and we were there four hours. Do the math.

All was not lost, however. I snapped a couple pictures with my cell phone which I found rather funny. First up, a “sign” (if you can call it that) posted on one of the buildings:

How exactly does one wash their hands throughly? Also, considering it’s misspelled twice, it’s probably not a typo. Oops.

Okay, perhaps not the best placement of the cage-lining cardboard… Poor little bunnies.

    I’m having trouble how you can do anything throughly, including washing hands :) .

    It’s a good thing those bunnies can’t read. Work induced stress perhaps?

    Lelia: Perhaps, but only until you’ve licked through the outer layer of ice. Then you hit hair, which, according to cats, doesn’t get digested very well. :)

    Tom: I don’t know… they look pretty nervous anyway! Perhaps that’s because they know they’re going to end up as a fur coat or something like that. The rabbits (along with the pigs, cows, etc.) at the fair were mostly cared for by 4H kids and teenagers, and as far as I know, all of such animals end up going to “market.”

    Haha that’s pretty red neck to bad those bunnies the bring close to about 3000 grand I know I rasie them
