Haha. Fair enough.

And yes, it is more philosophical than LOTR. I just reached the part in The Subtle Knife where Thorold is explaining that he believes Lord Asriel is trying to hunt down the Authority (God), and kill him.

I don’t think this is a triology you can compare with LotR, is not the same kind of books. HDM is more philosophical.

But it is great books.
