I wanted to post and let everyone know that I have, indeed, not fallen off the planet. I realize that the blog has been less active recently than it has been in the past, and with good reason: last week, Spring quarter started for me at university. I’ve been pretty busy with school stuff, with large chunks of my time being eaten up by reading and studying.
The blog here won’t be going anywhere, and won’t even be going “inactive.” I’ll be blogging just as always. I think once I get into the swing of things, regular posting will recommence. In fact, once I get into the swing of things with school and my new schedule, blog posts here may actually become more frequent: just from a week and a half of classes, I’ve got all sorts of interesting things floating around in my head, begging to be blogged about, particularly about history. (See, Nils, if you’re patient, your wish will be my command. More history blog posts will be showing up!)
So, please stick around. I’ve not gone anywhere, and I won’t be going anywhere, either.

What a relief. I thought that you had spontaneously combusted. Or perhaps had been abducted by aliens. Good to know that you are not glued to your computer, unable to type, too.

You know, Fig, it’s nice to know that I can always rely on you to be the resident smartass when I’m not feeling up to it.
And yes, I suppose it should have been ‘inactivity’ instead of activity. And for that, I refuse to change it.
