I want to know you. (An open thread of sorts.)

Alright, now for something a bit different…

My feed stats tell me that there are approximately 50 people who read my blog daily. My comment, on the other hand, have mostly has the same 5-10 people commenting over and over. There is, of course, nothing wrong with these 5-10 people; in fact, I’m quite fond of them. However, that leaves about 40 of you who I.. well, don’t know. I have no idea who you are. You are just numbers on a pretty graph. I really would like to know a little bit about the rest of you. What’s your name? What do you like on my blog? Do you have a blog? Do you like pizza? How about blueberry muffins? Cats or dogs? Tell me whatevever you want to (if you want to tell me anything, that is).

The ball is in your court. :)

Update: Well, the feed stats show that 47 of you got my blog updates today, and there have only been two comments on this post so far – both of which were done by folks who have commented in the past. My regular blog stats (i.e., not feed stats) show that 17 people have specifically hit this blog entry.

So uh… I guess I just have a lot of lurkers who don’t wish to comment, at all! And now, back to our regularly scheduled program (which is basically randomness, in a nutshell…)

Ok, to get the ball rolling because there’s nothing worse than being the first to comment:

    My name is Cas.
I just like your blog because, well, it’s got you on it :P
    Yes, I have a blog.
I like the bbq chicken pizza from the place round the corner (who knew that Afghan refugees would make a wicked bbq chicken pizza?)
I love blueberry muffins but chocolate are better.
Cats, though I’ve nothing against dogs.
And… That’s it. Read my blog for more!

Now, how about the rest of you?

Mm, I don’t exactly belong to the target audience here, but since technically I started commenting more regularly only recently, here is my contribution.

    My name is Nils
I like your blog because it is random. Random bloggers are highly sensitive and intellectual creatures!
Yes, I have a blog, it’s called Scobleizer, um, NDNL
Yes I like pizza, but I like two pizzas even more
Blueberry muffins? What’s not to like?
Dogs, though I’ve nothing against cats. Nor against iguanas or wildebeest.
    And that’s it as well…

Now it’s up to those bastard lurkers! Philistines!

So much for this idea… :) If anything, it seems to have scared the lurkers even deeper into their holes!

What about the possibility of pulling out of Iraq, letting Iran invade and lose resources fighting their own kind,
and then come in and mop up the dregs?

Hi, nemoforone. Thanks for commenting. Having said that, I have no idea what you’re talking about. :P However, to go along with it, if we were to pull out of Iraq, I’d be in favor of pulling out for good, regardless of whether or not Iran and Iraq got into a war.
