I switched templates today, from Sandbox (basically a frame to work on) to Cutline (which is a great theme, right out of the box). I changed a few things, notably some link colors to match my header image. I also added in the menu background that I’ve been using for a while now, and switched from a default font of Georgia to Arial. When all is said and done, it’s not really a “new” look, but rather a refined version of what I’ve been using for a while now. I think it’s a bit easier on the eyes when reading. Hope you all enjoy (the three of you who still manually visit my website, that is; my stats say that the bulk of you read via a feedreader!)

I love it! Like you say, it’s only some minor changes, but all of it combined really works. It’s a different look somehow. The sans-serif was a very good move.
I used to click through to blogs from my feed reader all the time; arguing that feeds looked too much as e-mail. But with Google Reader that changed, and the G’s eye candy had me confined to their interface. I now realize I have to come visit more often again. It makes such a difference.
That and good posts of course
Glad you like it, Nils. I’m rather fond of it myself.
