Wow. Then again, when I've looked at some online glossaries of British English words, I've been quite lost. So I can understand that I suppose. Speaking of accents: I used to watch Are You Being Served? all the time when I was younger. After watching it for quite a while I understood the accents just fine. I'd often forget that it took me a while to understand them, until a friend would try and watch the show with me. "I can't watch this; I can't understand anything they're saying!" Glossaries? Wow. Then again, when I’ve looked at some online glossaries of British English words, I’ve been quite lost. So I can understand that I suppose.

As for the 2 countries business, I've heard some British film have to have glossaries supplied for American audiences. However, this also happens with here with some domestic output. Then again 3,000 odd miles of wet stuff between the UK and USA do tend to reinforce differences to the point where we're described as 'two countries divided by a common language'. Our first computer had 160MB of space, because I distinctly remember having 320MB after we used compression software. I also remember that games generally took from 3-15MB of space back then.
