I disagree with you here, but since you admit your reasons are mostly just an unexplainable love of the physical book that's little surprise. I've done most of my "book" reading on the PSP for the last year and a half. For a while before that, I used a device that would allow text to be read on the GBASP. I love that I can have a device smaller than a single book that can hold the content of hundreds of books if I so desire, contains its own lighting source, and can easily keep many bookmarks if there's a need. "However, if there is ever any sign of electronic book reading devices taking over the market, I may do something drastic like chain myself in front of a bookstore or something." All this will do is prevent your fellow bibliophiles from buying physical books, forcing them to go elsewhere and get the digital equivalent. :) Heh.
