[...] So, what's your ideal vacation spot? What about your ideal setup, if you were going to "set up camp" for an extended period of time? The giant, cozy library would be my place, definitely. I'd be up for staying in any of those other places for an extended period of time, too, particularly Germany. 6 months to a year would be great; plenty of time to get some confidence in my spoken German.
I don't really know much about Greece. Spain or Italy would be cool, but I'd still prefer one of the more Germanic countries. :)

I haven't found the vacation spot yet, that I want to stay 6 months in, still doing researches ;-)

I guess though that it would be Greece, Spain or Italy for me. It's partly because of the FOOD (I'm a hungry monster *lol*) and partly because it's nearby if I need to go home visiting family...

I haven't seen so much of U.S. yet, so maybe somewhere there too, who knows.

Zeitlos: Yes, actually. I do that quite often, particularly with a Barnes and Noble bookstore. They have big, comfy chairs throughout the store, as well as an excellent coffee shop area. I'd love to be locked up in one of them. :P Also, going on holiday to Sweden would be cool.

Angela: I'd love to visit Tibet. You too (in regards to having a nice Sunday).

Hi Josh,
strangely enough even though I live in vacationland I don't do beaches in the Summer. Autumn and Spring now.. fabulous.
I totally agree with you about New Zealand. My sister went unfortunately before the trilogy was filmed and she really did have a good time there.Very outdoorsy and sporty. I'm not so sure I'd want to visit the film sites; that may spoil things. Just seeing some of the "making of.." spoilt it a bit for me..
Other places:
China and soon
Tibet
Canada
I'm attracted to places that have a lot of sky.
Have a nice Sunday.

I would love to go to Chile: sandy beaches, interesting cities and snowy mountains close together.
Scandinavia would also be great with all the lakes and forests. I love to go hiking all the day and sit down in front of a nice fire and read. Perhaps we can find a good library somewhere in Sweden and go on holiday together.
Have you ever dreamt about being locked up in a book store?
