So, as can be seen by the last post here, I’m using the feature at del.icio.us that automagically posts my del.icio.us links for the day here. Seeing as I’ve started using del.icio.us more recently, I thought it’d be cool to try out. Hopefully a few people will find cool sites via my link posts that they wouldn’t have otherwise.
I do need to note something, though. Via the daily links posts, you can get to my del.icio.us page. That’s cool; I don’t have any problem with that (obviously…) However, it does need to be noted that del.icio.us shows that I currently have some 400 odd bookmarks. Furthermore, I will openly admit, I’m not sure what 75% of those are. Maybe even 85%. The easiness of clicking the del.icio.us tag button on my Firefox bar has made it to where if a site seems even remotely useful / interesting, I’ll bookmark it. Furthermore, I never really developed a system of tagging my links. Some have 3 tags. Some have 20 tags. You can take 2 sites that are extremely similar in content, and find that one has one set of tags, and the other has a totally different set of tags.
For this, I apologize (but not too strongly, because I don’t owe any of you folks anything
). I’m going through the links and trying to organize them a bit better.
Oh, and one other thing. If you start perusing my bookmarks, don’t hold anything you find against me. I’ve used del.icio.us in a variety of ways in the past couple of years (has it been around that long?), so I’m sure there’s some odd stuff interspersed throughout the links.
