Utopia = No place

I was checking out About Buddhism earlier, and noticed something I thought was rather interesting. A guy named Thomas More wrote a book in 1515, coining the term ‘utopia’. What I found interesting was the way he created the world, or more simply, the etymology of the word.

It’s created from two Greek words: ‘ou’ meaning ‘no’, and ‘topos’ meaning ‘place’. Therefore, utopia means ‘no place’, or a place that doesn’t exist. You can see basically the same information here.
