SkypeIn still not working

Unfortunately, my SkypeIn number still isn’t working. I’ve gotten a few responses from Skype. The lady that’s looking into the problem basically said, “I dialed your number and got your voice number, so the number is active and working. Did you try dialing with a 0 first?”In answer to that, yes, I did. I’ve basically tried dialing the number every way I know how to. As I mentioned in the other posts, I’ve tried calling the SkypeIn number with:

• My cell phone
• My landline
• A friend’s cell phone

All 3 phones are located in the same area code as my SkypeIn number. When I try to call with any of those phones, I’m told that I’ve dialed a non-working number, to check the number, and to try again.

Granted, I’m not saying that the Skype lady is lying, but if I can’t call my SkypeIn number with phones that are in the same area code as the SkypeIn number, no, the SkypeIn number is not working correctly. In fact, that rather defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?

I told them that if the problem can’t be resolved, I’ll just take a refund. It’s not a huge deal; I was just really hoping it’d work, since it sounds like such a nifty idea. If they give me a refund, perhaps I’ll try a different SkypeIn number and see if it works.
